The six-issue limited series that started it all, Apocalypse Suite, began with the release of the first issue on September 19, 2007.
The comic features illustrations by Gabriel Bá, cover art by James Jean, colors by Dave Stewart and letters by Nate Piekos.
It won the 2008 Eisner Award for Best Finite Series/Limited Series.

Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá are ready to release the second limited series.
The first issue of The Umbrella Academy: Dallas, “The Jungle,” is set to be released on November 26, 2008.
Gabriel Bá is now doing the covers solo with the occassional guest variable cover. The first of these is by Jim Lee.

So far, I’ve had to read parts of T.U.A *Apocalypse Suite..it’s WICKED!* from a friend cause she has it, but she never told me where she got it from!! I live in the US, so please..can anybody tell me where I can get my own copy, cause Im lovin the series so far! Gee-Gee’s really imaginative & creative. =)

I have just finished reading issue #2 of the first series. And I can’t put the comics down.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens next. I absolutely admire the artwork and the plot. I applaud all who were involved in creating this comic.

I am hoping to get the rest of the first series. And Also hoping to get my hands on the Dallas series as well.
The movie comes out in 2012

Gerard and Bá have done a wonderfull work in this Umbrella Academy. And show to people a big history, with very good ilustration.

lmao. i was confused about this too; and yes, there are comics that came out and the graphics novels “the apocolyse suite” & “Dallas” are all the comics put together with extra concept art and comments from the author and illustrator (i have both).
