DC Universe: Halloween 08
Last month there were rumors and speculations all over the internets about how My Chemical Romance bassist Mikey Way, Gerard Way’s (The Umbrella Academy creator and lead singer of the rock band My Chemical Romance) younger brother was working on a story for the DC Comics Halloween issue. DC Comics has now released the cover art for the issue as well as additional information on their website. It is available for pre-order here.
The 80-page issue DC Universe: Halloween ‘08 is expected to go on sale on October 22, 2008 for $5.99 USD. DC Comic’s Halloween issue is on of the most anticipated comic book issues of the year.
The issue was written by Michael Way, Mark Verheiden, Mike Johnson, Brian Reed and others. Art by Trevor Hairsine, Duncan Rouleau and others. Cover by Gene Ha.
According to internet sources, Mikey Way penned an 8-page story for this issue. DC Comic representatives have not been able to confirm. Some internet rumors have even hinted that he might appear in one of the Batman comics!
Gerard Way recently (August 25th to be precise) wrote of his time off from touring with his band and “hanging out with Mikey in New Jersey, relaxing, drinking coffee, [and] talking comics… [hint hint].”

i luv these comic books to death and i cant wait for more of them!!! yea i kno i sound lik a crazed fangirl, but in reality its just me being extremly hyper from coca cola, and waiting for the next issue of the umbrella academy to come out…i promise….lol XD
